Thirty-four (34) ambitious Australian footballers will assemble in the nation’s capital today as the next generation of the Joeys – Australia’s U-17 men’s national football team – commence or continue their national team journeys. The young footballers will spend the next five days training at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) under National Teams staff, including Trevor Morgan and Tony Vidmar, with each player aiming to put his best foot forward ahead of Australia’s participation at the upcoming AFF U-16 Youth Championship in Jakarta, Indonesia.
